We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and personalized care.
Duties
Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
Utilize straight razors for precision shaving and hair sculpting.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer recommendations on styles and products.
Upsell retail products and services to enhance the overall client experience.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices in techniques, customer service skills, and salon practices.
Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, including color theory and cutting techniques.
Experience
Candidates should have a valid cosmetology or barbering license. Previous experience in a barbershop or salon setting is preferred but not mandatory. A background in customer service, retail sales, or upselling is highly valued. Strong communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction. Familiarity with salon software will be an advantage.
