Hours/Shifts: Wed 10am-8pm, Thu 10am-9pm, Fri 10am-5pm, Sat 10am-5pm
Salon Associate Stylist needed in our upscale, very busy salon & spa. As an Associate Stylist, you will assist one or our lead Director level stylist in daily tasks, ensuring efficient salon operations and outstanding client service. You will be involved in hands-on work with clients, from consultation through to finish styling, under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced stylist. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, energetic, personable and professional multitask capable personality. Dependability, accountability and the desire to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment are required for this position. We will consider candidates with a resume demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.

A Typical Day:
Salon Associate Stylist
Associate Stylist meets with the Director level stylist in the salon to go over their client roster for the day. You will be briefed on the times and type of service each client is to receive so they can be prepped, finished and rescheduled accordingly
Shampooing the client’s hair before a cut and performing any other treatment-related function
Prep & mix color and apply conditioning treatments as prescribed by Director
Comb/Brush out and Blow Out/Finish client as prescribed by Director
Assist the Director level stylist in the daily management of their schedule
Take before and after photos as prescribed by Director (social media skills a +)
Responsible for the upkeep and overall maintenance of the salon such as station cleanliness, prep and presentation.
Restock salon supplies
Misc. duties as required
Compensation: $13 per hour/tips
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
