We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in hair cutting, coloring, and styling while delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences and current trends.
Apply makeup and provide makeup consultations to enhance clients’ overall appearance.
Offer specialized services such as eyelash extensions and hair threading for an elevated client experience.
Utilize straight razors for precise cuts and styles, demonstrating advanced barbering techniques when necessary.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development through guidance and support.
Upsell products and services to clients, ensuring they receive the best possible care tailored to their needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Skills
Proficient in cosmetology with a valid cosmetology license.
Strong knowledge of color theory to provide expert color consultations.
Experience in makeup application techniques for various occasions.
Familiarity with eyelash extension application methods is a plus.
Ability to perform hair threading with precision and care.
Skilled in using straight razors for hair cutting and styling.
Background in barbering techniques is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Strong mentoring abilities to guide less experienced stylists effectively.
