Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar, an emerging and rapidly growing franchise, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Salon Manager tojoin our teamat our brand-new location in Scarsdale (East Chester), NY, opening in June 2023. If you have a flair forleadership, a love for the beauty industry, and a desire to grow professionally, this opportunity is for you!
As a Salon Manager at Moxie, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our salon, providing an exceptional experience for our clients, and leading a team of talented professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the salon, ensuring a high level ofcustomer satisfactionand a seamless experience for clients
Hire, train, and mentor a team of beauty professionals, fostering a positive and supportivework environment
Manage employee schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive salon growth and increase clientele
Monitor salon performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Act as a liaison between the salon team and upper management, providing regular updates and feedback
Continually seek opportunities forprofessional growthand development, staying current on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience
Previous experience in management, preferably in the salon or beauty industry (not required but preferred)
Cosmetology license not required but preferred
Strongleadershipand interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Excellent customer service andcommunication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in afast-paced environment
Strong organizational andproblem-solving skills
Flexibilityto work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to staying current on trends and techniques
