We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our NEW Salon opening soon in Eagan. As Salon Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of salon operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and Inspire: Supervise and mentor salon staff, ensuring high-quality technical service and exceptional guest service are consistently delivered. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Operational Excellence: Maintain salon cleanliness and ensure compliance with all regulations, as well as Fantastic Sam’s and Salon’s standards. Uphold Fantastic Sam’s guest service procedures.
Performance Management: Assist in planning and overseeing staff meetings. Set, review, and support performance goals for each stylist.
Drive Profitability: Implement and support programs and initiatives designed to increase profitability, promote sales, and control costs. Identify and recommend opportunities for growth to management.
Training and Development: Train staff and lead by example, modeling salon values and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with management to achieve the salon owner’s objectives.
What You’ll Need:
Valid Cosmetology Manager’s License: A current and valid license is required.
Proven Stylist Experience: Demonstrated experience as a stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Leadership Experience: Prior experience as a salon manager or assistant manager is highly desired.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical hair care skills, including cuts, color, perms, conditioning, etc.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with product lines and proficiency in recommending and selling products.
Positive Attitude: A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and genuine passion for the beauty industry.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with management.
