We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. Duties:
– Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles or treatments
– Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
– Maintain a clean and organized work station
– Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality services
– Manage appointments and maintain accurate records of client information
– Promote salon products and services to clients
– Handle cash register transactions accurately
Skills:
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
– Strong team management abilities to coordinate with other stylists and salon staff
– Sales skills to promote salon products and services
– Proficient in time management to ensure efficient scheduling of appointments
– Knowledge of cash register operations for accurate payment processing
– Supervising skills to oversee junior stylists or assistants, if required
– Budgeting skills to manage salon expenses effectively
– Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and tips
– Familiarity with the market trends in hair styling

Note: All Hairstylist plus Manager must be Licensed in the state of Texas and able to provide licensing to Owner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 – $27.09 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
