Salon Manager / Lead Stylist – Plush Rose Blowout Bar (Fort Leonard Wood, MO)

Plush Rose Blowout Bar is a boutique-style salon specializing in blowouts, cuts, color, and specialty services. We operate with a team-based structure—collaborative, supportive, and guest-focused. Our mission is simple: deliver consistent, high-quality service while cultivating a positive, inclusive culture that uplifts both our team and our guests.
We’re currently hiring a Salon Manager / Lead Stylist to help launch and lead our Fort Leonard Wood location. This is a hands-on leadership role—you will work behind the chair while also overseeing salon operations, team performance, and daily management.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management Duties:
Oversee daily salon operations and ensure a smooth, organized work environment
Monitor and manage salon productivity using our internal sales and service tracking system
Review stylist productivity reports each pay period and guide team improvements
Complete required operational and performance reports for salon ownership
Track and support team retail sales, service goals, and rebooking rates
Lead team huddles and monthly performance check-ins
Support hiring, onboarding, and continued training of new team members
Handle minor guest issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper supply inventory
Uphold and model all salon policies, procedures, and service standards
Stylist Duties:
Perform professional blowouts, color services, and cuts with attention to detail
Work confidently with all hair types and textures—no guest is turned away
Provide exceptional guest experiences and maintain a consistent service pace
Collaborate with team members and assist with shared tasks when needed
Capture and participate in content creation for social media (your work, the salon, and teammates’ work; speaking is not required)
Promote retail products, rebooking, and salon promotions through natural conversation
Qualifications:
Valid Missouri Cosmetology License required
2+ years of salon experience behind the chair
Prior leadership, assistant manager, or shift lead experience preferred
Skilled in haircutting, color, and blowout styling
Confident working with all hair types, including textured and natural hair
Comfortable with recording video content for salon social media
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Able to multitask and keep team energy positive and focused
