Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair braiding services to clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will utilize your creativity and expertise in hair styling to meet the diverse needs of our clientele, enhancing their overall experience with personalized service.
Responsibilities
Perform various hair braiding techniques, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a hygienic environment for clients.
Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Upsell additional services such as hair extensions or eyelash extensions based on client needs.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair braiding and styling techniques.
Assist in retail sales by promoting hair care products that complement the services provided.
Utilize GLOSSGENIUS or similar software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Skills
Strong knowledge of various hair braiding techniques and styles.
Proficient in customer service with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in sales transactions effectively.
Experience in retail sales, particularly in beauty or cosmetology settings.
Knowledge of hair threading, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to upsell services while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
A background in cosmetology is preferred but not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
