Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and hair extensions.
Perform makeup application for various occasions, ensuring clients look their best.
Utilize hair threading techniques to offer additional services to clients.
Maintain knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable color options for clients.
Use MINDBODY software for scheduling appointments and managing client records effectively.
Assist clients with product recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology and beauty techniques.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desires and provide personalized services.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
Proficient in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and barbering.
Experience with hair extensions application is preferred.
Knowledge of makeup application techniques for various styles and events.
Strong understanding of color theory related to hair care.
Familiarity with MINDBODY software for appointment management is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
Ability to perform hair threading as an additional service is desirable.
Retail math skills for managing product sales and inventory are beneficial.
A valid cosmetology license or relevant certification is required.
