Position Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Time Hair Stylist to join our team and provide professional salon services to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills in a meaningful way by helping seniors look and feel their best.
Key Benefits:
$200 monthly rental fees.
Stylists collect all charges directly from residents for hair services provided.
Responsibilities:
Provide hair styling, cutting, coloring, and other salon services tailored to residents’ preferences and needs.
Build positive relationships with residents, offering friendly and compassionate service.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
Schedule and manage appointments efficiently.
Offer suggestions and recommendations to residents about haircare and styling.
Ensure residents feel pampered and valued through your work.
Qualifications:
Valid cosmetology license in the state of Minnesota.
Proof of liability insurance is required.
Experience working with seniors or in a similar environment is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs.
Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.
Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety practices.
Must have and provide your own supplies to cut hair/perms
Schedule:
Part-time hours with flexibility to meet residents’ scheduling needs.
