Newport RI’s Newest Retail Experience – Sea Love | A Candle Bar and Boutique
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Scent Stylist to join our team at Sea Love | A Candle Bar and Boutique, a unique pour-your-own candle bar where guests create custom-scented candles, reed diffusers and home fragrances.
Becoming a Certified Scent Stylist at our candle bar is the perfect blend of fun and work! You get to interact with people, help them create custom scents, and be a part of a creative, hands-on experience every day!
What You’ll Do
Guide guests through our scent blending experience, helping them create their perfect scent and pour their own candle.
Provide top-notch customer service with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Educate customers on scent notes, candle making techniques, and product care.
Assist with daily operations, including setting up bar trays, restocking supplies and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.
Manage an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise, ensuring that products are well-displayed and accessible.
Process transactions and promote additional products to enhance the customer experience.
Foster strong customer relationships through outstanding service.
What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Demonstrates honest communication, and trustworthiness.
Consistently meets expectations, takes initiative, and follows through on responsibilities with integrity.
Enthusiasm for product knowledge is highly desirable.
Ability to stand while working for long periods of time.
Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or creative field is a plus (but not required- we love to train enthusiastic team members!)
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
