Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Perform alterations and repairs on garments using a sewing machine
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with fitting and garment adjustments
– Ensure the quality of work meets or exceeds customer expectations
– Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
– Proficient in using a sewing machine and other tailoring tools
– Strong knowledge of garment construction and different fabric types
– Ability to accurately measure and fit garments on customers
– Basic math skills for taking measurements and making adjustments
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Previous experience in fashion retail or as a tailor is preferred
