**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in garment construction and alterations, with a passion for fashion and delivering high-quality tailoring services for each piece.
**Responsibilities:**
– Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments
– Recreate prototypes in multiple fabric/sizes
– Use sewing machines, hand stitching, and other tools to complete tasks
– Willing to work alongside the owner, to perfect each piece together before finalizing each original design
– Ensure all finished garments meet quality standards and specific specifications
– Keep work area clean and organized
**Qualifications:**
– Proficiency in working with sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques
– Creative with fashion and open to sharing ideas/perspective
– Knowledge of garment construction and alteration techniques
– Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
– Has the communication skills to explain and educate about the process for possibly having to train a team later on
– Experience in fashion retail is a plus
– Ability to sew accurately and efficiently
– Able to meet deadlines and follow instructions
– Has a means of transportation
Join our team as a seamstress to showcase your sewing/tailoring skills. You will be at the start of a new clothing company, one that’s been in the works for a while now, so we need someone who is passionate and excited about their work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 39 per week
