We are seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to join our team as Hair Stylists, Colorists, and/or Barbers. Responsibilities:
1. Provide a range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and/or barbering to clients of all ages and hair types.
2. Consult with clients to understand their unique preferences, lifestyle, and desired outcomes, ensuring personalized and tailored services.
3. Offer expert advice on hair care, styling techniques, suitable color options, and grooming trends to help clients achieve their desired look.
4. Perform precision haircuts, blending techniques, and styling methods to enhance clients’ natural features and complement their individual style.
5. Skillfully apply hair color, highlights, and lowlights using various techniques to achieve desired shades and effects while maintaining hair health and integrity.
6. Perform grooming services such as beard trims, shaves, and facial hair styling with precision and attention to detail for male clients.
7. Create a welcoming atmosphere by actively engaging with clients, listening to their needs, and building rapport through genuine conversation.
8. Educate clients on proper hair care techniques, product usage, and maintenance routines to prolong the life of their hairstyle and color.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and salon environment to uphold professional standards of hygiene and safety.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to support a positive work culture, share knowledge and skills, and contribute to the overall success of the salon.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, Colorist, and/or Barber, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in one or more areas.
2. Strong technical skills in hair cutting, styling, coloring, and/or barbering techniques, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
3. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for connecting with people of all backgrounds, ages, and personalities.
4. Creativity and artistic flair demonstrated through innovative hair designs and personalized client transformations.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to actively listen to clients’ preferences and provide expert recommendations with warmth and empathy.
6. Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding client expectations through attentive care and attention to detail.
7. Ability to thrive in a collaborative salon environment, working effectively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.
8. Flexibility to adapt to evolving trends, client requests, and scheduling demands while maintaining professionalism and salon standards.
9. Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the appropriate state regulatory agency.
10. Dedication to continuous learning and professional development to stay current in the industry and enhance skills.
