Position Overview
We are looking for a Selling Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates enthusiastically, is eager to learn about luxury retail, and can manage multiple tasks to support the team at the Chanel Ready-To-Wear Boutique.
This individual will partner closely with our Sellers to execute exceptional client experiences, uphold store operations, and embody the highest standards of luxury retail. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about fashion, eager to learn, and committed to growing a career in the luxury retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Sellers in preparing and executing personalized client appointments
Schedule appointments and manage daily client interactions
Maintain and update client information to support relationship-building
Accurately process transactions using POS systems
Follow up post-appointment with order tracking, alterations, and thank-you communications
Support digital selling initiatives and enhance boutique social media presence
Organize and execute exclusive gifting and in-store experiences for VIP clients
Return unsold merchandise to stock in a timely manner
Ensure fitting rooms and boutique spaces are clean and guest-ready at all times
Stay knowledgeable on product collections, industry trends, and POS/clienteling technology
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in retail or client service; luxury experience preferred
Strong interest in fashion and the luxury retail environment
Desire to grow within in-store retail roles and a long-term career path
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
High level of discretion, professionalism, and customer service orientation
Adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
