Position Overview

We are looking for a Selling Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates enthusiastically, is eager to learn about luxury retail, and can manage multiple tasks to support the Advanced Designer Ready-To-Wear Team.

In this role, you will support Sellers in delivering personalized and elevated shopping experiences across our Advanced Designer Ready-To-Wear collections featuring Gabriela Hearst, Prada, and Balmain. You will assist with both scheduled appointments and walk-in clients, ensuring seamless boutique operations and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities

Assist Sellers in preparing for and executing personalized client appointments

Greet and engage walk-in clients, supporting Sellers in delivering exceptional service

Coordinate appointment scheduling and client communications

Maintain and update client profiles and preferences within clienteling platforms

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at POS

Handle post-sale follow-up including order tracking, alterations, and thank-you notes

Support digital selling initiatives and social media engagement

Assist in organizing gifting and in-store experience activations

Ensure merchandise is returned to stock promptly and boutique presentation standards are upheld

Keep selling areas and fitting rooms clean, organized, and guest-ready

Remain knowledgeable on current product assortment and use of POS/clienteling tools

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in retail or client service; luxury retail experience preferred

Strong interest in fashion and designer ready-to-wear collections

Comfortable working with both scheduled appointments and walk-in clients

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Solution-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Professional demeanor with a client-first mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Stay knowledgeable on product collections, industry trends, and POS/clienteling technology
