Position Overview

We are looking for a Selling Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates enthusiastically, is eager to learn about luxury retail, and can manage multiple tasks to support an seller on our second floor, Women’s Shoes & Ready-To-Wear floor.

In this role, you will work alongside Sellers to provide elevated, high-touch experiences for clients, including walk-ins and VIP clientele, across premier footwear & ready to wear brands. You’ll play a key role in executing appointments, maintaining floor operations, and contributing to an exceptional in-store atmosphere. This is an ideal position for someone passionate about luxury footwear, customer service, and ready to grow in the fashion retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Sellers in preparing and executing personalized client appointments

Greet and engage walk-in clients, providing exceptional service and support

Comfortably assist and remain professional when engaging with VIP clients

Coordinate appointment scheduling and client communications

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client profiles within clienteling systems

Process sales transactions and manage post-sale services (e.g., order tracking, thank-you notes)

Support digital selling efforts and contribute to the boutique’s social media strategy

Assist in organizing seasonal events, gifting initiatives, and product launches

Keep selling areas and fitting spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready

Stay knowledgeable on product collections, industry trends, and POS/clienteling technology

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in retail or customer service; luxury experience is preferred

Interest in designer footwear and luxury fashion

Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of comfort assisting high-profile/VIP clients

Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Composure, professionalism, and discretion in all client interactions

Adaptability in a fast-paced, client-first retail environment

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
