Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hair styling techniques, color theory, and nail care, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services while creating a welcoming environment for clients.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims tailored to client preferences.
Utilize knowledge of hair styling techniques and color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations to ensure a clean environment.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend products or services that enhance their grooming experience.
Upsell salon products and services effectively to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Maintain accurate records of client appointments using salon software such as MINDBODY.
Mentor junior staff members by sharing expertise in hair styling and customer service best practices.
Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and cosmetology to provide clients with contemporary styles.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in hair styling, nail care, and sanitation practices.
Familiarity with retail math principles to assist in inventory management and product sales.
Experience using salon software such as MINDBODY is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.21 – $50.00 per hour
