Job Overview
As a Hair Stylist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients through expert hair care and styling services. You will be responsible for providing a range of hair treatments, including cutting, coloring, and styling, while ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for each customer. Your creativity and technical skills will be essential in delivering high-quality results that meet our clients’ needs.
Duties
Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services according to client preferences and current trends.
Utilize hair threading techniques to provide precise and detailed grooming services.
Offer professional advice on hair care products and services to enhance client satisfaction.
Upsell additional services and retail products to clients based on their individual needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and effective communication.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices as needed, sharing your expertise and fostering their development.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide the best service possible.
Skills
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, barbering, and hair threading.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in retail sales with an aptitude for upselling products and services.
Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results in hair coloring treatments.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Pay: $18.52 – $20.32 per hour
