The Role

Reporting into the Buying Manager as Senior buyer you are responsible for your own business brand portfolio as well as contributing to the development/management of the wider buying team. You will also contribute to the business brand strategy through managing and nurturing existing brand relationships & new brand acquisitions.

Responsibilities

Facilitating the development of Buyers, Assistant Buyers and Buyers admin’s through continuous coaching and support.

Ability to buy across all divisions, categories and product groups

Taking complete accountability and ownership of their product file.

Competently and confidently managing brand relationships

Researching, initiating and driving new business opportunities

Possessing and demonstrating extensive knowledge of the full product file

Collating and presenting budget and business performance reviews externally to major brands

Maintaining strong relationships internally with departments business-wide

Sharing Regular Market Knowledge insights with the wider team and presenting an educated viewpoint

Budget planning alongside the wider buying & merchandising teams

Requirements

At least 5 years’ experience at Buyer level or senior working with a global brand portfolio

Strong level of market awareness and an understanding of where SEVENSTORE lives within this ecosystem, both domestically and internationally

Extensive knowledge of brands and products relevant to SEVENSTORE
