WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- At least 4-5 years general business experience, 4 years being buying or brand management experience in retail operations
- Degree level education in Industrial Engineering or Business
- Master’s degree in Fashion, Luxury Management, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
- Qualification in marketing, commercial studies, retail, or business management.
- Availability to travel abroad frequently
- Excellent command of spoken and written English is a must and at least a beginner level in Italian or French is required
- Highly motivated and must be able to demonstrate they can step up to the next level
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of retail math; Knowledge of MS Office computer programs are required
- Good negotiation and strong organization skills
- Excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
- Strong sense of personal style & fashion trends

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THIS POSITION…
Our portfolio includes Loro Piana, Eleventy, Sandro, Maje, 100% Capri, and our own multi-brand concept IN-FORMAL.
- Primarily responsible for the planning, selecting, and buying of merchandise for multibrand and monobrand stores.
- Define and maintain a buying strategy which matches customer profile, market requirements and the direction of the Business.
- Take direction from the Buying Manager on all key financial, brand and range decisions. This role will be responsible for ensuring that these decisions are communicated effectively to all concerned both internally and externally and followed up accordingly.
- Ensure buys are placed timely, they are set up accurately and communicated to suppliers so that on-time delivery is also achieved.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers to aim for growth.
- Build new relationships with vendors and to grow existing relationship with partners
- Buyers should be skilled in all the buying disciplines relating to brand, product selection, margin and OTB management.
- Provide support for Replenishment reordering
- Plan effectively, prioritize and work under pressure as the number of brands and number of contacts will be significant
- Create necessary documents such as buying reports, market research, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis to inform buying decisions
- Prepare seasonal trend and product training presentations for internal teams, highlighting key directions, opportunities, and strategic insights.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process including controlling the invoices, shipment tracking, delivery coordination, and vendor compliance.
- Provide end of season feedback to each brand
