Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Planning Manager to oversee the comprehensive process of product development and manage the cross-functional teams involved in the seasonal planning. In this role, you will be responsible for
driving alignment across teams starting from creative brief to sell-in,
optimizing planning calendars,
ensuring driving all deliverables across all key milestones leading to on-time product availability
Scope
: Textile for Fashion Show / Central collection / Special project / Collabs
Key Responsabilities:
Product & Design Planning Definition & Calendar Management:
Define, coordinate, and manage the overarching seasonal planning from seasonal framing to market entry, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy and business goals.
Act as the central point of contact within the ecosystem, collaborating with studio, product, development, supply and sourcing.
Lead the alignment of cross-seasonal calendars to ensure the timely and effective delivery of projects.
Milestone management & governance :
Weekly status with product’s top management to ensure deliverables of key milestones and risk management
Prepare detailed reports on the status of collections, project timelines, and key milestones
Lead post-launch evaluations to identify areas for improvement in future collection processes.
Project Leadership to Reduce Development Lead Time:
Lead key projects focused on reducing development lead times and improving product flow from conception to OK dev.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to accelerate design approvals, prototype testing, and color validation.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product development and take corrective actions when necessary to meet business objectives and deadlines.
Partner with operations, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure efficient product development, maintaining high quality and cost standards.
Oversee the development and availability of prototypes, ensuring timely validation and commercialization readiness.
Standardize local design process framework & drive the governance:
Link the local design process to the global framework from creative brief to collection finalization.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Fashion Design, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
10+ years of experience in product development or end-to-end product management within the textile fashion industry,
Proven expertise in managing complex product development processes and leading cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements that optimize time-to-market and ensure on-time product availability.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing relationships across various departments and external stakeholders.
High proficiency in project management tools and software for scheduling, resource planning, and reporting.
