Extended Salon is a brand-new, premier salon opening in late spring 2025 in Newton, MA. Designed to provide a spa-like, serene atmosphere, our 6,100-square-foot facility includes 47 spacious styling stations, a private consultation room, and thoughtfully curated amenities. Every detail has been crafted to create a calming environment where clients feel pampered, and professionals feel empowered to excel in delivering exceptional blowouts and hair extensions.
As an Extension Stylist of Extended Salon, you will specialize in delivering expert hair extension services alongside related coloring and styling treatments. By focusing on craftsmanship and client satisfaction, youll play an integral role in shaping a salon culture built on excellence, innovation, and exceptional service. Role Overview:
The Extension Stylist will focus on delivering high-quality hair extension services and styling treatments, including blowouts, cuts, and color. In collaboration with our Client Consultation Specialist, who handles consultations and service recommendations, youll have more time to maximize your earning potential by focusing on exceptional services in the chair. This approach streamlines your schedule and ensures a seamless client experience.
Additionally, the Extension Stylist will play a key role in meeting individual goals while contributing to the overall success of the salon through membership promotion, building new business, and driving performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Extension Services:
Apply, maintain, and remove hair extensions with expert precision while ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
Utilize advanced techniques, specifically sew-in wefts and keratin bond applications, to deliver high-quality results.
Related Hair Services:
Perform blowouts, haircuts, coloring, and styling to enhance client results and deliver personalized looks.
Collaboration with Consultation Specialist:
Partner with the Client Consultation Specialist to ensure seamless communication about client preferences, service details, and extension methods.
Benefit from consultations being handled separately, allowing you to focus on delivering services and increasing earning potential.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other stylists, Client Consultation Specialists, and salon staff to foster a positive and supportive team environment.
Share expertise, offer guidance, and provide encouragement to team members to maintain a cohesive and professional salon culture.
Membership and Business Growth:
Promote salon memberships and recommend services or products to enhance client experiences.
Work proactively to bring in new business and achieve individual goals, including rebooking rates, retail sales, and client retention.
Hair Care Education:
Educate clients on extension maintenance, at-home care, and recommended products for long-lasting results.
Salon Cleanliness and Professionalism:
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adherence to salon cleanliness and sanitization protocols.
Contribute to the overall salon atmosphere by presenting a professional and polished demeanor.
Qualifications:
Experience Required: Minimum of 12 years of experience working with hair extensions in a professional salon setting.
Proven expertise in hair extension techniques, including sew-in wefts and keratin bond applications.
Proficiency in corresponding services, including blowouts, coloring, and styling.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the Client Consultation Specialist and other team members.
Goal-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving performance metrics and contributing to salon success.
