FCI (BD) Ltd. is looking for Senior Designer -Designing (Woven)
Job Description / Responsibility
This position will be responsible for design sample or will develop the new product for the buyer by fulfilling their requirements and expectations.
To create design/product sample presentations based on customer mood boards.
To make professional tech packs using Illustrator & Photoshop.
To communicate with buyers and sourcing offices.
To communicate design specifications to CAD team, work closely with the sample room to ensure that the designs are executed correctly, and the finished products meet the brand`s quality standards.
To source, select, and book RM for sample development.
To collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and production, to ensure a cohesive brand image.
To perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the management.
Follow up and co-ordinate every stage of sampling.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Experience Requirements
4 to 7 year(s)
Additional Requirements
Experience in formalwear will be an added advantage
Previous experience in working directly with buyers and designers
Proficiency in communicating in English in writing & speaking
Proficiency in work with design tools like Adobe Illustrator and photoshop
Proficiency in work with Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
Strong technical skills in garment construction and design
Knowledge in woven fabrics and good sourcing capabilities
Excellent Understanding about global fashion trends and International high-street brand awareness Experience in CLO3D software will be an added advantage
