Role Description
This is a full time remote role is for a Senior Designer specializing in Womenswear Apparel.
There may be some travel involved to Austin or to shoots.
The Senior Designer will :
- Sketch designs based on direction / inspiration images.
- Create techpacks and illustrator flats (must).
- Collaborate with Creative Director in research
- Manage sample development and timeline
- Attend / lead fittings with CD, or alone.
- Able to send fit comments to factories
- Knowledge of spec sheets
Qualifications
- 6+ years as a womenswear designer in contemporary or luxury fashion
- Strong understanding of Textiles and Product Development to ensure high-quality and innovative garment production
- Portfolio required
- Bonus: Sustainable textile knowledge.
- Bonus: Fabric resources
We are looking for a strong candidate in either LA or NYC, with exceptional technical skills (sketching, aesthetic, techpacks).
Pay is based on your experience.
