Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Designer located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. As a Senior Designer, you will lead and manage creative projects, develop design concepts, and produce high-quality visual solutions across various platforms. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and internal departments to ensure brand coherence and execution excellence. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior design team members, ensuring timelines and brand guidelines are adhered to, and actively contributing to strategic brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Graphic Design, Visual Design, and Branding
- Proficiency in Creative Suite, Typography, and Digital Design Tools
- Experience in Creative Direction and Project Management
- Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an agency environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility, taste, and visual storytelling across areas such as: Graphic design / branding, Digital / web / interactive design, Interior or spatial design, Fashion or product aesthetics, photography
- A keen eye for detail, composition, typography, colour, lighting, and materials
- Deep appreciation for aesthetics, culture, and contemporary design trends
- Ability to think conceptually and execute with precision
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate creative decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
