We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to oversee and guide embroidery design development within a dynamic studio environment. This role involves close collaboration with international teams to ensure the execution of high-quality embroidery aligned with client and creative vision. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fashion design, garment construction, and embroidery techniques, along with strong leadership and coordination skills.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of embroidery designs across various categories, including samples, collection pieces, and VIP garments, translating creative briefs into detailed executions.
Accurately interpret design artwork and instructions, collaborating with the artist team to deliver work that reflects a strong understanding of garment structure and design aesthetics.
Ensure all embroidery creations align with artistic direction, quality standards, and client expectations.
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging embroidery techniques to keep the studio at the forefront of innovation.
Act as a bridge between design and production teams, partnering with international collaborators to clearly communicate design intent and expectations.
Coordinate with planning and organizational leads to meet project deadlines and maintain smooth development workflows.
Provide regular updates on project status and incorporate feedback swiftly to ensure alignment with creative and client objectives.
Oversee the quality of all embroidery outputs through consistent checks and constructive feedback.
Mentor and support studio team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on creativity, precision, and continuous improvement.
Provide training and professional development to elevate the team’s skillset and promote autonomy in the design process.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in Fashion Design and Embroidery Techniques
Solid understanding of garment construction
Experience in interpreting design briefs and artwork
Excellent coordination and cross-team communication skills
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a design team
