JOB OVERVIEW
32 Degrees is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its team. The candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude, contribute to dynamic group discussions, thrive in creative collaboration, and meet individual design goals. The candidate should be very comfortable with working in a fast-paced, highly creative environment with multiple deadlines, and is always seeking to grow and learn as a designer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Stay up to date with trends, market standards, and integrate them into package design concepts.
Own the design and development of packages (PDQ box/actual mock-ups) and trims (hangtag/label) from research/concept to production.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with overseas vendors for all necessary packaging development & production.
Manage multiple projects with tight time management skills.
Responsible for the timely creation of package designs solutions, and photo editing/retouching.
Create effective and energetic design solutions.
Generate ideas and concepts for fashion industry.
Create identity packages and trims, packaging dielines, hangtags, PDQ boxes, and gift boxes.
Create and maintain concept and presentation boards.
Perform in-depth design analysis.
Work collaboratively with fellow designers and related departments.
Work closely/cross-functionally & effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Digital Arts/Graphic Design or related discipline OR equivalent working portfolio experience.
5+ years of experience in graphic design or related 5 years of design work experience, in graphic design for cosmetic, accessories &/or apparel market for packages.
Expert with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other related programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Highly developed taste level and sensitivity to color balance.
Strong aesthetic and production skills with an understanding of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts, typography, proportion, etc.
Easily adaptable to new situations and willingness to jump headfirst into unfamiliar roles and projects.
Familiarity with preparing and delivering files for production.
Strong verbal communication skills; dependable, detail-oriented, well organized, and open to voicing their opinions in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Open and able to absorb and apply constructive criticism.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
