We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team with the potential to move into a Salon Manager position. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to mentor junior stylists. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while also contributing to the overall success of the salon.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care and styling techniques.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Maintain an organized work area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty products.
Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Proficiency in cosmetology practices and techniques.
Experience in retail sales, particularly in promoting salon products.
Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Ability to learn salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
