In the Senior Manager, Assortment Analytics role, you will be the omni-assortment advisor to Merchants and have input into category space initiatives by leveraging your customer-centric mindset to analyze Walmart’s vast dataset to deliver actionable insights, while partnering closely with leaders across merchandising, product, and engineering teams. You’ll make an impact by:
Developing strategic recommendations-Analyze category performance data and space productivity to ensure optimal category footage allocations across all stores. Leverage data analytics to optimize space and improve sales through clustering. Formulate clear, actionable strategic recommendations backed by data and analysis. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment across multiple departments.
Leveraging tools -Partner with internal team members to utilize tool automation to drive efficiencies in modular and floor plan analytics and drawing.
Building strategic relationships:Build internal relationships with merchant and cross-functional leaders in order to achieve aligned goals for the business. Drive cohesive plans at store level by partnering with internal teams – such as merchandise operations.
Operating with excellence- Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.
