Accountabilities
The Senior Merchandising Planner & BI will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for Merchandise Sales Planning and Reporting activities, including Buying and Planning Management, Seasonal OTB Planning, Promotion and Markdown Planning, Seasonal OTB Planning, Promotion and Markdown Planning, Global Inventory KPI tracking, and Stock Rebalancing. Key stakeholders include Retail Merchandising, Digital Merchandising, Collection Development, Regional Merchandising, Finance, CRM, Data & BI, Retail and E-Commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead data cleaning, mapping, and governance for sales and stock analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
- Define, update, and monitor yearly, seasonal, and monthly KPIs, providing strategic recommendations based on performance trends.
- Lead seasonal OTB planning (newness & carry-over) across global, market, channel, and category perspectives for both main and spot collections, driving alignment with commercial and financial goals.
- Develop and maintain the Rolling OTB framework to proactively track sales, stock, and intake against targets, flagging risks and opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth sales campaign spending analysis against OTB by region, presenting actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Drive markdown planning strategy for in-store (DTC) & outlet business by market, balancing sell
through objectives.
- Participate in ad hoc promotional planning at a global, regional, and channel level.
- Own the preparation and presentation of weekly and monthly sales analysis reports, including sell-through performance by product category and Top 20 bestseller monitoring, with commentary and forward-looking recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate from a relevant program (e.g., Business, Accounting, Retail Management, Engineering).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, complex modelling); experience with SAP and Power BI is required.
- 4–5 years of experience in merchandising planning, buying, or a related function within the fashion or luxury industry.
- Proven ability to independently manage OTB processes and planning cycles end-to-end.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset balanced with product sensitivity ("art & science"), with the ability to translate data into clear business direction.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and hands-on.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in supporting a team environment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position is full-time in office.
