What is the role?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Online Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, consumer behavior, and merchandising strategies. The Online Merchandiser will be responsible for optimizing the presentation and performance of our products across various online channels to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience.

What you’ll do?

Manage the online product catalog, including adding new products, updating product information, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms.

Utilize analytics tools and reports to monitor product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to maximize sales and profitability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and inventory management, to develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with business objectives.

Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and discounts to drive sales and maintain competitive pricing within the market.

Optimize product listings for search engine visibility and ensure compliance with SEO best practices to improve organic traffic and search rankings.

Continuously monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for product assortment expansion and differentiation.

A/B test product presentation, messaging, and placement to optimize conversion rates and enhance the user experience.

Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in online merchandising to maintain a competitive edge.

What you’ll need?

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.

Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices is a plus.

Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques is preferred.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
