Compensation: Hourly range listed includes base pay plus commission earnings.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with product selection, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Conduct engaging product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience.
- Supervise daily store operations, including stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product layouts.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts to ensure product availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Support team members through supervising experience by mentoring new associates and assisting in training on sales techniques and store procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience with a strong understanding of retail math, upselling techniques, and cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles within a retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats; bilingual abilities are a plus!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering processes, and basic math calculations required for transactions.
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, setting up displays, and organizing products efficiently.
- Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail setting is preferred but not mandatory.
