Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Senior Scientist (Product Development – Powdered Beverages)
What Are The Roles And Responsibilities
- The Product Development Scientist for Beverage will focus on building a new product development and also provide solutions (existing product improvement) by using his/her knowledge and expertise on beverages
- We are seeking an expert in powdered coffee formulation and unit operations. Candidates with a proven track record in coffee processing technology will have a significant advantage in leading our innovation pipeline.
- He or she is also tasked to support the commercialization production scale up until product launch.
- Collaborate works with different teams (Engineering, ISC, Finance, Production), Consumer Technical Team, Suppliers, Regional R&D, and/or Marketing, on consumer-focused and related product opportunities
- Generates and maintains project records and monthly status summary.
What are the Qualifications?
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in BS Food Technology, BS Food Science, BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, or other related courses.
- Experience in handling snacks category/division manufacturing industry
- At least 3- 5 years' experience, preferably in the FMCG industry with technical depth and knowledge in processes and ingredients involved in their respective category.
- Must have good knowledge on food processes (Food Science, Process Engineering) and has good attention to detail.
- Possesses good analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with proficient computer and reporting skills.
- Overall good project management skills
- Must be curious, creative and always thinking of better ways to innovate products.
