Key Responsibilities
Deliver expert-level hair services including precision cuts, advanced color techniques, treatments, and styling.
Provide personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Serve as a mentor and role model for junior stylists, offering guidance, feedback, and training support.
Stay current on industry trends, advanced techniques, and product innovations to continuously elevate your work.
Lead by example in sanitation, professionalism, and client experience standards.
Drive retail performance through product education and strategic upselling.
Actively participate in Beauty Talk’s seasonal drives, complimentary service days, and community events.
Collaborate with management to improve salon processes, service offerings, and client satisfaction.
Assist with inventory management, team scheduling, and operational support as needed.
Foster a warm, inclusive, and high-energy environment for both clients and staff.
Qualifications
Valid New Jersey cosmetology license.
5+ years of salon experience with a strong portfolio of haircuts, color work, and treatments.
Proven ability to build and retain a loyal clientele.
Experience in team leadership or mentorship is highly preferred.
Strong product knowledge and retail sales experience.
Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills.
Passion for community impact, education, and continuous professional development.
Professional, punctual, and a proactive team contributor.
Knowledge of barbering and textured hair techniques is a strong plus.
