Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Present menus and explain daily specials to customers
– Take accurate food and drink orders
– Deliver food and beverages promptly
– Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages
– Clear tables efficiently
– Process payments accurately
Requirements:
– Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred
– Knowledge of food handling procedures
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and beverages
– Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
– Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
– Understanding of restaurant operations and etiquette
– Experience with OpenTable or similar guest reservation systems is beneficial
– Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional service
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.63 – $21.23 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
