**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Shampoo Assistant to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, contributing to a positive salon experience.
**Responsibilities:**
– Greet and welcome clients, offering them refreshments and ensuring their comfort
– Assist stylists with shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing clients’ hair
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shampoo area and salon stations
– Support salon operations by performing various tasks as needed
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
**Skills:**
– Knowledge of retail sales practices related to hair care products
– Basic understanding of hair styling techniques
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with clients effectively
– Ability to mentor and assist clients with hair care tips and recommendations
– Previous cosmetology training or certification preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 – $10.00 per hour
