We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shampoo Assistant to join our dynamic salon team. Duties
Greet clients warmly and assist them with their needs upon arrival.
Perform shampooing and conditioning treatments, ensuring client comfort throughout the process.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shampoo area and salon environment.
Assist stylists with preparing clients for services, as needed.
Utilize salon software to manage appointments and client records efficiently.
Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and productive work environment.
Participate in mentoring opportunities.
Experience
Prior experience in a salon setting is preferred. Candidates with skills in customer service will be highly regarded. Familiarity with salon software and an understanding of hair products, color theory is a plus. A passion for the beauty industry and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
