Job SummaryAs a key catalyst for innovative thinking and storytelling, this role is responsible for creating powerful creative concepts, building integrated strategies, and developing copy for the brands that scale across campaign development, digital, social platforms and all touchpoints of the brand.

Responsible for leveraging cultural, competitive and consumer insights into strategic opportunities.

Partner with creative team to produce dynamic work that drives business results and breaks-through in a competitive landscape.

Partner with brand teams to develop and elevate brand voice that is distinctive and relevant to the consumer

Must be a big thinker, beauty obsessed and a master of language! Perfectionists who lives for uncovering the right insights and love crafting the perfect turns-of-phrase.

Responsible for the voice of Shiseido brand (including skincare & makeup) across all campaigns & assets produced by the Creative team.

Responsible for driving their vision in presentations to the Creative team and then presenting to senior executives at the brand.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate on integrated campaign strategies and 360 copy development for the brands, inclusive of: strategic owned (social), earned, and paid, planning and deployment including channel strategies, earned/”influencer” engagement and paid amplification/optimization

Collaborate on all digital content production in alignment with recommended strategic approach: campaigns, owned/earned/paid initiatives, activations and other ad-hoc opportunities

Oversee execution and roll-out of all strategies and content, ensuring accuracy and alignment to final approved content

Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders

Work with brand teams, Production and the integrated creative services.

Qualifications & Competencies

College Degree

2-3 years copywriting experience.

Working in beauty/fashion/luxury life style brand is strongly preferred, but not required. Having a passion for beauty/life style branding is a must!

Must be a strong ideator with an eye for detail, who can channel the best of beauty, fashion, lifestyle, design, and art. Be a strong critical thinker who can balance boldly original work with emotional resonance, clarity, and style to meet client needs.

Demonstrated strong writing, copy editing and proofreading skills

Demonstrated understanding of technologies supporting impactful digital marketing and social media efforts, including experience with leading reporting tools.

Strong strategic and conceptual skills.

Ability to drive for results in an-ever-changing work environment by way of established systems, workflows and processes. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Must be proactive and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency to meet the needs of the client.

Ability to self-prioritize and prioritize for others the key departmental tasks associated with producing brand specific work

Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment with multidisciplinary teams.

Able to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively not only as a copywriter, but also as a colleague, peer and key contributor to business goals.
