Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Shop Assistant, located in Lake Pocono PA. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for assisting with daily shop operations, maintaining organization, and ensuring tools and supplies are properly stocked and organized. Responsibilities include inventory management, shop cleanliness, coordinating supply orders, and supporting skilled workers with tools and materials as needed. The Shop Assistant will ensure workflow efficiency and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment use, and general shop practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or similar fields is a plus
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and handle manual tasks
