Job Summary:
The Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing all team and shop operations within Isabel Marant, Bloomingdale’s 59th St. This role will focus on customer service, team management and performance, sales performance, and efficiency ensuring maintenance of operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate staff in exercising exceptional customer service skills with clients.
- Maintain visual standards in alignment with brand expectations.
- Support with recruitment and performance management of existing staff
- Oversee daily operations managed by the sales and operations staff
- Analyze sales performance and manage sales and inventory reporting
- Ensure consistent communication with Isabel Marant US Retail team and Bloomingdale’s management team
- Act as a liaison between Bloomingdale’s 59th St. personal shoppers and Isabel Marant regional stores.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in retail management, ideally within luxury fashion.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team development and coaching.
- Expertise in store operations, including inventory management and financial reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proficiency in inventory systems and POS platforms
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and ability to implement brand standards.
- Flexible availability to support shop operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This role is only required to work 32 hours/ week.
