As we expand our digital presence, we’re seeking a Shopify Plus Specialist to maintain and elevate our flagship site, www.clarasunwoo.com, while leading the exciting development of a brand-new sub-brand.
This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of remote work combined with the creative energy of in-office collaboration in NYC.
Location: Our headquarters are situated in Industry City, a vibrant creative arts and entertainment hub on the waterfront of Sunset Park in Brooklyn. Within our 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art design studio and office space, we enjoy direct views of the water and the iconic New York City skyline. Our esteemed wholesale sales executive team is afforded the opportunity to operate in a fully remote capacity, reflecting our commitment to providing flexible work arrangements that cater to the evolving needs of our valued professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and optimize www.clarasunwoo.com for performance, design, and UX best practices
Lead the build and launch of a new Shopify Plus site for an emerging sub-brand
Customize Shopify themes and user experiences using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Collaborate with design and marketing to ensure product merchandising is visually appealing and on-brand
Design digital assets for the website, email campaigns, and promotions (Photoshop, Canva preferred)
Implement marketing automation and customer retention strategies via Klaviyo
Optimize for SEO and CRO, and integrate Shopify apps that enhance performance
Stay informed on the latest Shopify innovations, trends, and best practices
Qualifications:
3+ years of Shopify Plus development experience
Deep knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, and CSS
Strong grasp of Shopify APIs and app ecosystem
Ability to build or customize Shopify themes from the ground up
Eye for fashion merchandising, e-commerce UX, and intuitive design
Proficiency in Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools
Experience with Klaviyo flows, campaigns, and integrations
Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills
Bonus: Experience in fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands
Full-time hours: Monday – Friday 9:30am – 6:00pm (Hybrid)
