Role Description The Showroom Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. The Showroom Assistant will greet clients, manage appointments, and support a welcoming, polished showroom environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with in-person sales, presenting jewelry collections, answering product questions, and providing personalized customer service. The role also includes maintaining product displays, organizing inventory, preparing pieces for client viewings, and ensuring the showroom is clean and presentable. The Showroom Assistant will process transactions, assist with packaging and order fulfillment, update basic client information, and support the team with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive, personalized client experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Experience working in showrooms or similar client-facing environments, with an eye for visual presentation and detail.
  • Background in sales or retail sales, preferably in jewelry, fashion, or luxury goods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full time in New York, NY.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, handle delicate merchandise carefully, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and common office software.
  • Interest in fine jewelry, trends, and styling; prior jewelry experience is a plus but not required.
