Responsibilities
To deliver in a professional and empathetic manner a first class customer service. This involves understanding their needs and assisting them as appropriate throughout their journey from first entry into the showroom to after-sales
Understanding the customer needs and responding appropriately
Ensure the showroom is tidy and presentable at all times with excess stock neatly stored and that all incoming deliveries are dealt with swiftly and put away
To assist the operations assistant with the visual merchandising of the store ensuring this is interesting and refreshed regularly to draw customers into the store
Demonstrate excellent product knowledge so as to be able to effectively communicate features and benefits to the customers, dealing with customer enquiries as they arise.
Ensuring that your product knowledge is kept up to date at all times and you are familiar with new products prior to launch
To answer the telephone and respond to customer emails without delay
The processing of sales through the store’s point of sale system or the processing of orders for direct dispatch from our warehouse
The processing of payments in cash or by credit card in respect of store sales and back orders
Following the company’s standard operating procedures with regard to all transactional matters
Assisting the operations assistant with the booking into stock of incoming deliveries but also to assist in the arrangement of outgoing shipments where necessary
Handling returns of sales/orders coming back to the showroom
Build solid working relationships with other members of staff in Stockholm and other B+P locations
Support for the sales representatives where necessary
Ensure that any customer feedback is collected and shared with the Customer Service Team Manager
Assisting supply chain team with all stocktakes
Contribute to and maintain Departmental performance measures
Seek out new ideas to enhance the showroom’s success
