Showroom Assistant Jobs in London Area, United Kingdom at Dweet
Title: Showroom Assistant
Company: Dweet
Location: London Area, United Kingdom
About the Company
Place Rouge is a London-based wholesale fashion agency with over two decades of experience connecting some of the world's most exciting brands with retailers across Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Founded by Audrey Manes and operating from our Knightsbridge showroom, we represent a carefully curated portfolio that spans contemporary to luxury — including Jacquemus, Isabel Marant, Victoria Beckham, Marine Serre, GANNI, MUGLER, Jean Paul Gaultier, Zimmermann, and many more. We're a small, close-knit team with big ambitions. We work hard, travel to our markets, and take pride in knowing our retailers personally. That personal touch is what sets us apart.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Showroom Assistant to join the Place Rouge team. This is a junior role, but don’t be fooled — you’ll be at the heart of everything we do. Day-to-day, you’ll support our account managers with the smooth running of the showroom and take ownership of the agency’s admin operations. You’ll also act as a part-time PA to our founder, Audrey Manes, helping her stay on top of a busy schedule. When fashion week comes around, this role becomes even more critical. While the team is in full sales mode, you’ll be the one holding the fort — keeping communication flowing, managing logistics, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Responsibilities
- Supporting account managers with day-to-day tasks: scheduling, follow-ups, sample coordination, and client communications
- Managing the general admin of the agency: filing, invoicing support, order tracking, and database upkeep
- Acting as PA to the founder: diary management, travel logistics, correspondence, and ad hoc support
- Keeping the showroom running smoothly during fashion weeks, when the team is focused on selling
- Liaising with brands and retailers as needed, with a professional and warm approach
- Helping prepare for and host buyers during showroom appointments
Qualifications
Previous experience in an admin, PA, or coordinator role is a plus, but not essential if you can demonstrate the right mindset.
Required Skills
- Impeccable organisation — you’re the kind of person who lives by their to-do list and never drops a ball
- A calm, can-do attitude, especially under pressure
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Genuine interest in fashion and the industry — you know the brands, you understand the world
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative when the team is heads-down
