ROLE SUMMARY
Reports directly to the Head of Sales, North America. The Showroom & Executive Assistant supports day-to-day showroom operations, seasonal market execution, sample management, and wholesale sales administration. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role suited to someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced luxury wholesale environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Showroom Operations & Market Support
– Maintain the showroom to a high standard at all times: merchandising, cleanliness, and visual order.
– Prepare the showroom for market and appointments: steaming, tagging, hanging, rack setup, and selling tools.
– Support buyer appointments: greet clients, manage appointment flow, take notes, track requests, and assist throughout the sell-in process.
– Assist with model dressing and garment presentation during appointments.
– Coordinate calendar management, travel, and scheduling for trunk shows and market events.
Sample Management & Logistics
– Interface and work withing company ERP (Infofashion) to coordinated shipments from warehouse
– Manage all sample traffic: check-in/check-out, pulls, packing, shipping, receiving, and tracking.
– Maintain organized sample storage with clear inventory visibility.
– Coordinate shipments for market, press, photoshoots, clients, and warehouse.
Wholesale Sales Administration
– Assist with order entry, PO updates, reorders, and system maintenance in coordination with the sales team.
– Prepare and maintain selling tools including line sheets, image decks, lookbooks, and order recap documents.
– Support basic wholesale customer service: follow-ups, requests, and coordination with internal teams.
– Assist with NuOrder or other B2B wholesale platforms as needed.
– Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for orders, samples, and sales tracking; ensure data accuracy across internal documents.
Events & Special Projects
– Support showroom events, trunk show preparation, and special brand initiatives.
– Assist with sample photoshoots, presentations, and ad-hoc projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
– 1–3 years of experience in a fashion showroom, wholesale sales support, luxury retail, or similar environment.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
– Highly organized with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
– Professional communication style; comfortable interacting with buyers and internal teams.
– Hands-on and proactive; comfortable steaming garments, handling samples, and managing logistics.
– Ability to multitask and stay composed during high-pressure market periods.
– Interest in luxury menswear and the wholesale business strongly preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT
– Full-time, on-site role based in the New York City SoHo showroom.
– Extended hours required during market weeks.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary: $60,000-70,000
Bonus: 10%
