Whom we are looking for: A Sales Assistant to work full time in our New York office. They will provide administrative & operational support to the sales team managing private label fashion accessory programs for major mass retail customers. This role helps coordinate product development, order management & customer communications to ensure successful execution of sales initiatives and on-time delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Account Executives with daily account management activities for retail customers.
- Accurate entry of customer orders in our system
- Outline Packaging requirements to production for all products ordered
- Review packaging demo from factory & approve for shipping
- Assist with all meeting preparation – labeling and organizing samples, getting showroom ready
- Organize and track samples shipped to customers
- Timely & clear communication with Merchandising, Production & Technical departments as needed to ensure timely processing of orders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in sales support a plus.
- Experience working with retail accounts, private label products, or consumer goods preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
