ROLE DESCRIPTION

Tilt Beauty is looking for a highly creative, culturally fluent Social Media and Content Manager to help shape how the world experiences our brand.

This is more than a channel management role. You'll help define Tilt's voice across social, creating content that people genuinely want to watch, share, and talk about. You'll translate product innovation, founder stories, and everyday moments into content that feels native to each platform while reinforcing Tilt's premium positioning.

You'll live at the intersection of beauty, design, culture, and the internet, constantly bringing new ideas back to the team, experimenting with emerging formats, and helping establish Tilt as one of the most distinctive voices in beauty.

You will own our social channels from creative concepts through publishing, partnering closely with brand marketing, e-commerce, product development, and our founders to build a social presence that is thoughtful, aspirational, and culturally relevant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Strategy and Channel Management

●     Own day-to-day strategy and channel management from ideation to execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms

●     Build and maintain a structured, forward-looking social content calendar that aligns with product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments

●     Identify emerging trends, conversations, creators, and platform behaviors that feel authentic to the Tilt

brand

●     Monitor performance and platform insights to continuously refine creative direction and content strategy

●     Publish content and manage occasional real-time or event-driven posting

Content Creation and Storytelling

●     Concept, shoot, edit, and publish high-performing social-first content across platforms

●     Develop recurring content franchises that build awareness, education, and affinity for the brand

●     Identify opportunities to highlight the people, process, and innovation behind the brand in ways that feel authentic and engaging

●     Translate product innovation, ergonomic design, accessibility, and clean formulation into engaging stories that feel entertaining

●     Capture content across product launches, founder moments, photoshoots, office life, retail activations, and events

●     Maintain a consistently elevated and on-brand visual aesthetic while adapting content to the unique nuances of each platform

Creative Development

●     Bring fresh creative concepts to the team every week and continuously test new content formats

●     Stay immersed in beauty, fashion, design, internet culture, and emerging social trends

●     Help evolve Tilt's visual language and social voice as the brand grows

●     Collaborate with internal teams to transform product features, customer stories, and brand moments into compelling content

●     Brief freelance creatives, photographers, videographers, and designers as needed to support larger content initiatives

Community Engagement

●     Foster meaningful conversations across comments, DMs, and tagged content

●     Build relationships with customers and creators

●     Surface community feedback, recurring questions, and emerging conversations to help inform future content and product storytelling

QUALIFICATIONS

●     2–4 years of experience creating social content for a beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brand

●     Exceptional creative instincts and a strong visual eye with an understanding of premium beauty aesthetics

●     Proven experience concepting, filming, editing, and publishing short-form video content

●     Deep fluency across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms

●     Strong understanding of what makes content feel native, culturally relevant, and highly shareable

●     Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms while maintaining a cohesive brand voice

●     Experience using analytics and platform insights to inform creative decisions

●     Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving startup environment

●     Passion for beauty, design, accessibility, and consumer products
