We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Assistant to support our social media team in managing and growing our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a knack for content creation, and a strong understanding of social platforms. This is an entry level role so will be well suited to a graduate or someone with personal or professional social experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and execution of channel specific strategy for all platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok & Pinterest.

Support in creating engaging and visually appealing social media content, including graphics, photos, videos, and written post copy.

Support in building, amending and signing off all feed plans for the full channel specific content strategy

Manage our fast-growing social media community on all channels and plan any engagement opportunities

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

Add flexibility and tenacity to the team by making and implementing quick changes to content posting and scheduling

Collaborate with the social media manager to brainstorm and implement campaigns, competitions, promotions and product launches.

Take ownership of scheduling and publishing all social media posts using social media management tools according to the social plan and marketing Calander.

Support in research industry trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for engagement and growth.

Stay up to date with emerging social media platforms and trends to recommend new strategies and opportunities.

Assist in organizing and maintaining digital assets and content libraries.

Provide administrative support to the social media team as needed.

Support the social media manger with bespoke content creation and editing across video, stills, stories and more, using canva and any other relevant design platforms.

Providing innovative ideas, inspiration, examples in meetings to help drive the social strategy and channels forward

Provide administrative support to the wider marketing team as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong passion for social media and a keen interest in staying current with platform updates and trends particularly within the fashion industry.

Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and basic graphic design software (e.g. Canva, CapCut).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Creativity and an eye for detail.

Experienced in content creation and editing; videos, stills + graphics
