With the majority of our sales driven by our flagship store in the heart of Collingwood, Melbourne, we are now focused on expanding our presence both nationally and internationally.

We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media & Content Manager to join us 3-days a week onsite in our Collingwood Flagship location, to help drive this exciting next phase of growth.

 

Responsibilities

This is a super hands-on role – filming, editing, copywriting, community management, being the face of the brand – the whole nine yards. The Social Media and Content Manager plays a crucial role in shaping Black Finch’s digital presence, creating meaningful connections with the audience, and driving engagement that aligns with business goals.

Acting as a brand ambassador across all social media channels, ensuring consistency in voice, messaging, and visual storytelling.

Developing and executing social media campaigns, in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Manager, to support product launches, collections, and brand initiatives.

Managing daily content creation, scheduling, and posting across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, with a focus on community engagement and growth.

Leveraging influencer marketing and user-generated content to amplify brand reach, increase engagement, and drive brand advocacy.

Conducting competitor analysis and using insights to continuously refine social media strategies, improving both engagement and commercial outcomes.

Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on social media performance, using KPIs to optimize strategies and ensure alignment with sales and brand growth targets.

Qualifications / Education

Qualifications in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Media & Communications

Experience

5+ years managing social platforms and creating content

Proficient knowledge of native social analytics, scheduling tools, editing software, canva

We’d prefer a candidate with social media and/or marketing experience within a fashion or jewellery business
